Full has everything you need plus some extras like madvr and reclock. You need a player that can use directshow filters. AviSynth itself does not provide a graphical user interface (GUI), but instead relies on a script system that allows advanced non-linear. AviSynth works as a frameserver, providing instant editing without the need for temporary files. If you're not having any problems then I'd leave things as they are, but if you do have problems when using Avisynth, give the 2.6 version I linked to above a go. It provides ways of editing and processing videos. For all I know the SVP version of Avisynth might actually be the same one, only they're still calling it Avisynth 2.5.8, or maybe it's a different version again. Well with SVP, you can basically convert any 24/30 fps video to a smooth 60fps movie (or 120fps if have a 120mhz monitor). Stuff like The Hobbit plays at 48fps and some sports broadcasts are 60fps.
